Hello fellow budget hunters
This post is going to be something a little different – I was recently asked ‘Where was the most beautiful place you have been?’
In 2014 I had the opportunity to visit Nepal with a charity called Personal Overseas Development and work in a school in Pokhara, Nepal. The Lake in Pokhara is one of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen.
I went in August which is peak Monsoon season for that area and you couldn’t see the Annapurna Mountains behind the low monsoon clouds. However it was so beautiful and somewhere I could have sat for hours. In fact I’m sure I did in the evenings after our sessions at the school.
I have seen some amazing places and I can only imagine the places I am going to visit in the coming years. Nepal was amazing as a country, the food, culture and I loved every minute of it! I have plenty more stories about this crazy few weeks I spent there including more accident prone injuries and funny storytimes.
I would like to go back soon.
